White Knuckle Drive in a Mountain Snow Storm

 

Slipping and sliding down a mountain

We were trying to avoid snow, so when we encountered this snowstorm coming down from 12,000 feet it was unwelcome to say the least. With the weight of the fifth-wheel camper pushing on us, it was a bit treacherous.

The calm after the storm.

Once we got off the mountain we located a campground where we could spend the night. The next day, there were only a few flakes left in the air and a cloudy gray sky against the red rock formations.
